While you spend your days in the mental prison you’ve put yourself in, your critics are probably getting a kick out of it. As Lou Holtz says –

Don’t tell your problems to people: eighty percent don’t care; and the other twenty percent are glad you have them.

Every day we live in a free world, capable of doing whatever we please to do. Well, especially If you’re living in western society.

You can wear what the hell you want. Be the person you want to be. Do the things you want to do. And associate with the people you want to associate with.

It’s sad many of you don’t see things in this light.

For example, people don’t wear certain “colors” because they think society will view them as “gay”.

And many people don’t strive to earn a satisfying income because having a lot of money means you’re “greedy”.

And being “rich” means you “steal” poor people’s money. I’m sure you get what I’m saying.

But I’m here to tell you caring about what people think is the silliest thing you could ever do.

Not only is it stopping you from being yourself, it’s holding you back in a number of ways. If you want to do something then just do it.

You’re not a slave are you? If so then stop acting like you’ve been enslaved and do what you want to do.

If you haven’t got shackles around your neck and you’re not tied to a metal post, you’re FREE.

You don’t need confirmation from other people to do what you’re planning to do. You don’t need people to agree with you just to do what you’re thinking about.

If people don’t agree with your way of thinking, fuck em. If people criticize and poke fun at you as a person, fuck em.

You don’t need to surrounded by those who’s number one goal is to hurt you. You’re only imprisoning yourself by thinking this way.

Your mind can either be your greatest ally, or your greatest enemy

So which one are you going to allow your mind to be?

Your best friend or your enemy? I understand this mind frame stems from a lack of confidence and fearful thinking.

I understand that perfectly. But Isn’t it worth getting out of those habits so you can feel happy and think freely?

You deserve to do the things that interest you, without having to worry about others. And until you stop caring about what people think, your mindset will continue to drag you down.

The choice is yours. It all comes down to you.
