When you invest in your personal development, you’re doing so to improve life in some way, shape or form.
And the only way you can do that is by going through changes, especially from a psychological perspective. You’ve got to shift your mindset.
My personal development journey started in 2011 – 2012. I’ve learnt a lot, grown a lot, and achieved a lot since then. Thanks to the personal development resources out there on the internet.
Not to mention a range of books, audio books, videos, etc.
The biggest positive changes for me has been in the way I think, the words I use, my attitude and my daily habits.

Steve Pavlina is one of the most well known personal development bloggers on the internet. I’d say somewhere in the top 5.
In all truth this website was the first personal development blog I came across back in 2012. And as cliche as it sounds, this blog changed my life for the better.
Steve Pavlina consistently creates timeless content with tons of value. Covering topics like self discipline, relationships, money, setting goals, etc.
One of his most popular articles is a post called – 10 Reasons You Should Never Get A Job. This article alone had a massive impact on my life.

Pick The Brain is a personal development website packed with articles from writers all around the world. Almost all the articles are written by contributors and guest writers, and I’m an occasional contributor to the site myself.
You’ll find topics like self improvement, happiness, productivity, health, and motivation. The owner of this site is – Erin Falconer.
Owned by Jay White, dumb little man is a self improvement site providing tips to enhance your life. You’ll find topics ranging from money, health, life-hacks, and success.
Contributors to this site have written for sites like the huffington post, and other big websites as well.
Owned by Joel Brown, addicted 2 success is self explanatory. The majority of the articles are dedicated to providing solutions, tips, and advice to help you succeed in life and business.
This is a top resource for aspiring and current entrepreneurs, as well as business owners and ambitious people. This site is one of my favorite resources to take inspiration and learn from.
5. Tiny Buddha
Owned by Lori Deschene, Tiny Buddha is an inspirational resource with powerful stories from many contributors. And that’s what I love about this site.
The story aspect of it is different, it’s unique, and you can almost connect with the writer as you read each post. And the comments section is always overflowing with positive people.
I’m not a frequent reader of Tiny Buddha, but I’m never disappointed when I do.
So there you have it. My top 5 personal development blogs of 2014. It’s been a great year, and I expect 2015 to be so much better.
